• Are there any items that cannot be shipped using the International Ocean Freight Service?

  Dangerous items, food and beverages, unpackaged goods, and quarantine-controlled items cannot be shipped using consolidation.

• Is it possible to ship personal commercial items via International Ocean Freight Service?

  Yes, it is possible. However, for certain countries such as North America, China, and Indonesia, commercial items under a personal name is generally not accepted. Please contact us first for more details.

• How many days does it take until arrival at the destination?

  The sailing days for our International Ocean Freight Service from Japan vary greatly depending on the destination, so please contact us for details.
  From the shipper's location to vessel departure generally takes about one week, and from the destination port to the recipient's location also takes about one week.
  
  *Please note that additional days may be required in cases such as inland transportation in the US or Europe, congested ports, dangerous items, fresh goods, or other regulated items.

• Can I export items with the same packaging used for domestic transport?

  Yes. We ask you to use export packaging suitable for overseas shipping.

• I'm worried whether the items I want to send will be accepted at the destination.

  If you contact us in advance, we will check with our local partners to confirm whether the items can be accepted. We will also inform you of any additional costs or procedures that may apply.
  This helps prevent any problems after export in advance.

• Can you tell me about marine insurance for import/export cargo?

  During ocean transport, cargo is exposed to various risks. While we always handle shipments with the utmost care, risks such as vessel sinking, grounding, or theft cannot be entirely eliminated.
  For such unforeseen events, international marine cargo insurance is essential.
  
  You are welcome to arrange insurance directly with an insurance provider, or we can handle it on your behalf.

• Is it possible to ship heavy or large items?

  Yes, it is possible. However, depending on the destination, shipping arrangements may not be available. Additional costs may also apply based on the size or weight.

• This is my first time handling international trade. I don't know how to prepare the shipping documents.

  The minimum required shipping documents are:
  - Invoice
  - Packing List
  - Shipping Instruction (Shipping Order)

• Is a packing list required?

  Yes, it is mandatory.
  If the item description listed under the "DESCRIPTION" field is a general term (e.g., daily goods, alcohol), or if the cargo includes special items, food, beverages, cosmetics, etc., customs authorities are more likely to request detailed information, so a packing list is necessary.
  
  You provide the shipment information and dimensions, and we can prepare the packing list on your behalf.

• What information is required for the Recipient/Notify Party section on the Bill of Lading?

  The following details are mandatory:

  - Recipient address (including ZIP code)
  - Telephone number
  - Fax number
  - Email address
  - TAX ID (For individual customers, a passport number is required)
  
  To ensure smooth delivery of the Arrival Notice at the destination, please make sure to include the recipient's telephone number, fax number, email address, and the name of the contact person in the Recipient's section.

• What is an ARRIVAL NOTICE?

  An Arrival Notice is a notification of shipment arrival.
  It is sent by the shipping line to the contact listed under the Notify Party on the Bill of Lading. The notice includes the vessel's estimated arrival date and the shipment details.
