  There is no need for you to fill it in yourself. PochiLogi will fill in the HS code for the item you ship.

• Why is it necessary to include the HS code?

  Entering the correct HS code has the following advantages:
  -Speeding up customs procedures: Proper classification makes customs inspections smoother.
  -Proper calculation of customs duties: The correct tax rate is applied, and unnecessary additional costs can be avoided.
  -Checking import regulations: You can check in advance whether the item falls under any prohibited or restricted items for import.

  PochiLogi will fill in the HS code for you, so you do not need to fill it in yourself. Just provide the information about the item you ship, and PochiLogi will select the most appropriate HS code and fill it in correctly.

• Can I ship even just a box?

  Yes, PochiLogi accepts both small parcels and large cargo.

• What is the declared value?

  This is a declaration of the value of the cargo to customs, and the item and unit price must be written.
  Example: 2 pairs of socks costing 100 yen: Socks JPY 100 × 2

• Is there anything the recipient needs to do after the item has been shipped from Japan?

  Procedures may be required. There are various cases, such as showing identification and paying tax. Please ask the recipient to check whether they have received the email from the international courier after shipping the item.
